ALBERT LEA – Fairmont High School football fell to the undefeated Albert Lea Tigers 29-24 last Friday night at the Albert Lea Hammer Complex. Despite scoring 18 unanswered points in the second and third quarters, the Cardinals ultimately fell short on the road. Quarterback Joe Long left his imprint on the contest after showing fans his mix of passing and running abilities.
