Fairmont cross-country competes in BSC Championships

LUVERNE – The Fairmont High School boys and girls cross country teams took home fourth- and fifth-place finishes in Tuesday afternoon’s Big South Conference Cross-Country Championships Large School races. For the boys, Cooper Gudahl (17:09.31) led all Cardinal runners with a seventh-place finish. Devein Hanson (17:50.75) was close behind in 14th, with Cole Hanson (18:16.84) and Holden Junkermeier (19:05.24) earning 19th and 30th, respectively. North Union quarterback Greyson Colegrove tallied 216 passing yards on nine competitions and two touchdowns. Running back Draven Keeler picked up 241 yards and five touchdowns with his feet.
