TRUMAN - After dropping contests to Edgerton and Wabasso, the Granada Huntley East Chain/Truman got back to its winning ways with a 41-0 victory over Mountain Lake Area last Friday night in Truman. Quarterback Bowan Sill contributed to four of the six Jaguar touchdowns, throwing and running for two apiece. Jacob Mattson and Jaxson Bellecourt each had a touchdown snag. Sill finished with 57 passing yards and 38 more with his legs. Mattson had 76 on the ground on 13 carries. Rylan Rodgers had the other offensive score on a 5-yard rush.
GHEC/T will continue its season this Friday with a contest against Hills-Beaver Creek. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
NORTH UNION: 30, GTRA: 16
ARMSTRONG - North Union scored 17 points in the third quarter to charge its 30-16 comeback victory over GTRA last Friday night, retaining its perfect record and moving to 5-0 on the season. Warriors running back Carson Crouch finished with 200 yards on 34 carries while scoring twice. Greyson Colegrove and Gabe Whaley each had a rushing touchdown to go along with their 52 and 35 yards, respectively.
The Warriors will face Bishop Garrigan this Friday night at Conway Field. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
