FAIRMONT - Fairmont girls tennis avoided the incoming rainstorms during Friday afternoon's match against New Ulm, downing the Eagles 7-0 to extend its win streak to five. The Cardinals are now 12-1 on the year and haven't lost a match since September 1, which was a 6-1 defeat to St. James. Fairmont travels to Westonka next Monday for a match at 4:15 p.m.

Allison Slama defeated Carmen Schotzko, 6-1, 6-0. Emelia Klanderud bested Avah Kruse, 6-0, 6-0. Carly Gustafson dominated Lilly Rieger, 6-1, 6-0. Cadleigh Jobe won over Eleanar Grathwohl, 6-1, 6-2.
Doubles
Katherine Zelaya and Addison Toothaker defeated Natalie Fischer, 6-1, 6-1. Ada Edmundson and Ella Dresselhaus beat Brielle Evans and Regina Soto, 6-1, 6-1. Malana Nigon and Ellena Laven got the upper hand over Annika Wyffels and Edith Albrecht, 6-1, 6-1.
