BLUE EARTH - The Fairmont volleyball team notched its second straight win after topping Blue Earth Area 25-15, 25-16, 25-23 on Tuesday night. Nora Fitzgerald had 13 digs. Adylen Laven had eight digs of her own while collecting two aces. Jadyn Montgomery had a team-high seven kills to go with two aces. Kaylee Kloeckner had four kills, five blocks and three aces. Fairmont travels to Waseca this Thursday for a contest at 7:15 p.m.
MCW: 3, CEDAR MOUNTAIN: 1
TRIMONT - Martin County West continues to win. Despite dropping one set to Cedar Mountain in Monday night's match in Trimont, the Mavericks pulled away with another victory: 25-20, 16-25, 25-21, 25-19. MCW seeks to move to 6-0 when facing Alden-Conger this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Ida Rohman finished with 47 set assists. Brynlee Haukoos led all Mavericks with 14 kills, while Maddie Carlson had 12, and Bailey Larson and Jaylee Hanson each finished with 10. Haukoos had two aces on her 14 serves. Hanson had a team-high four solo blocks. Larson and Gianna Chase each had three assisted blocks.

REDWOOD FALLS - Fairmont girls tennis moves to 10-1 on the year after dismantling Redwood Valley, 6-1, on Tuesday afternoon at Redwood Area Community Center. Fairmont takes on River Valley this Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Allison Slama beat Kaelynn Welsh, 6-0, 6-0. Grace Blare took down Carly Gustafson, 6-3, 6-2. Ada Edmundson defeated Eloise Brozek, 6-1, 6-0. Addison Toothaker bested Anais Courneyer, 6-4, 6-2.
Doubles
Emelia Klanderud and Katherine Zelaya defeated Ellery Larsen and Faith Bruns, 6-0, 6-0. Malana Nigon and Ellena Laven got the upper hand against Inis Vagland and Elle Iverson, 0-6, 6-3, 10-1. Cadleigh Jobe and Ingrid Edman took down Emma Linsmeier and Haven Thielen, 7-5, 6-4.
