FAIRMONT - The Fairmont boys soccer team is on a two-game win streak. After starting the fall with consecutive losses, the Cardinals have evened their record with back-to-back wins, most recently a 6-1 domination over Wings United on Tuesday night.
Nathan Paris and Dammon Castillo each scored two goals. Vaughn Thompson and Fernando Pablo Gomez both notched one.
Fairmont will look to keep its winning ways this Thursday against Marshall at 7:00 p.m.

ST. JAMES - Tuesday night's 6-0 victory for the Fairmont (2-2) girls soccer team over Wings United snapped a previous two-game skid to push its record back to .500. Mollie Leiding finished her spectacular showing with a three-goal hat trick. Mackenzie Gerhardt notched a goal from Abbie Simpson's assist. Olive Kawecki scored an unassisted goal, while her pass to Bethenny Long notched another score. Cardinal keeper Addison Folkerts finished with one save. Fairmont will stay on the road during their match versus Marshall this Thursday. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
