Jaguars begin season in dominating fashion

GRANADA - The Granada Huntley East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther football team wasted no time getting its first victory of the 2026 fall. Scoring five touchdowns in the first half and one more in the second, the Jaguars took down Westbrook-Walnut Grove 42-14 during Thursday night's clash in Granada.
Jaguar quarterback Bowan Sill made his debut under center, and the transition was seamless. Bowan Sill accounted for four scores, three with his arm and one with his legs, to fuel the GHEC/T/ML offense. Elijah Jensen, Brahm Sill, and Alex Benck all finished with touchdown receptions. Jensen secured a pick-six interception in the second quarter. Running back Jonah Moeller scored on the ground for the Jaguars’ final points of the night in the third quarter.
GHEC/T/ML will play next Friday against Edgerton. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
