TRIMONT - Three consecutive set victories secured another win for Martin County West volleyball on Thursday night, beating St. Clair 25-10, 25-23, 25-18 and moving to 3-0 on the season. Ida Rohman went 15/17 on serves with four aces. Rowan Faber missed just one of her service points, claiming two aces herself. And Jaylee Hanson collected an ace after connecting on eight serves.
The Mavericks will test their unbeaten start to 2026 against Mountain Lake Area-Comfrey next Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.

WORTHINGTON - Fairmont volleyball loses its second match of the week after falling to Worthington on Thursday night, 22-25, 14-25, 23-25. The Cardinals are now 1-2 on the year. Ella Wubbena had 17 set assists with two aces. Jadyn Montgomery notched a team-high nine kills, while Adylen Laven and Kaylee Kloeckner each had seven and five, respectively.
Fairmont will host St. James next Tuesday in hopes of getting back to its winning ways. Match time is set for 7:30 p.m.

SLEEPY EYE - Sleepy Eye St. Mary's took down Granada Huntley East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther in three sets - 13-25, 15-25, 5-25 - on Thursday night.
Addison Barrick had six set assists. Vienna Thomas had two kills. Willow Singleton had 12 digs. Meredith Miller and Thomas each had one block assist.
GHEC/T/ML will host Blue Earth Area next Thursday in Granada, starting at 7:15 p.m.
