FAIRMONT - The Fairmont girls tennis team dominated Worthington during Thursday night's match at the Cardinal tennis courts, winning 7-0 to move its record to 2-0 on the young season.
Singles
Emelia Klanderud took down Lily Brown in consecutive 6-0 sets. Carly Gustafson bested Kah Blu Moo 2-6, 6-3, 10-5. Katherine Zelaya beat Isabella Kouame 6-0, 6-1. Cadleigh Jobe defeated Claire Schultz 6-4, 6-2.
Doubles
Allison Slama and Ada Edmundson got the upper hand against Lisbeth Soto and Paw Soe, 6-0, 6-0. Ella Dresselhaus and Addison Toothaker beat LwekaPaw Enmu and Maria Shwe 6-0, 6-0. Ellena Laven and Malana Nigon took down Isabelle Poe and Ehphoebe Htoo, 6-1, 6-1.
