Bulls score three runs in final two innings, force Game Three

JACKSON - There will be a Game Three between the Fairmont Martins and the Jackson Bulls in the Region 10C semifinals.

Jackson scored three of its runs in the final two frames to edge the Martins 5-2 at Wacker Field on Friday night in Jackson. Lincoln Swanjord, Fairmont's playoff draft pick, tossed seven innings and allowed two earned runs, fanning 11 batters. Jackson's starting arm was also a draft pick, Tucker Sorenson. He threw eight frames, gave up three hits and allowed a pair of runs. Both pitchers were picked up from the Hadley Buttermakers this past week.

Eli Anderson, Luke Becker and Lance Becker had the only hits for Fairmont. Luke Becker and Joey Crissinger had both RBIs.

Game Three will take place this Sunday back at Herb Wolf Field. First pitch is set for 2:00 p.m., with the winner punching their ticket to the state tournament.
