Greyhounds beat Jags in sections
NEW ULM — No. 3 New Ulm Cathedral scored runs in each of the second, third, forth and fifth innings to power past No. 14 Granada Huntley East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther 11-1 during Tuesday afternoon’s first round matchup of the Section 2A Girls Softball Tournament at Harman Park. The Jaguars scored first after Mariel Parish‘s single ended up as a run following a passed ball from the Greyhounds. Parish, Maeson Olson and Peyton Stohs had all three hits for GHEC/T/ML. Stohs finished her afternoon in the circle, allowing 10 earned runs and striking out five batters while walking two.
