Fairmont boys basketball player Logan Junkermeier earned a nomination on this year’s Big South Conference, Gold Division All-Conference team. Junkermier’s 18.3ppg and 9.5 rpg guided Fairmont to a 22-5 record, earning him the title of 2026 All-Sentinel Boys Basketball Player of the Year.

Cardinal shooting guard Joseph Hackett earned honorable mentions. Hackett ended his Fairmont senior season averaging over 10 ppg while knocking down 36% of his outside shots. He was a part of the 2026 All-Sentinel team for these exact efforts.
