Nicollet 85, GHEC/T/ML 67

NICOLLET – The Granada Huntley East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther boys basketball team fell to Nicollet 85-67 on Friday night at Nicollet High School.

Brody Grathwohl had 18 points after knocking down three outside shots. Ethan Jaskulke went 7-8 from the field with 15 points. Griffin Studer had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

The Jaguars (3-7) will play Loyola Catholic next Monday beginning at 7 p.m.

Madelia 80, MCW 60

MADELIA – The Martin County West boys basketball team dropped to Madelia 80-60 on Friday night.

Lixon Forsberg had 13 points and three steals. Landen Winter had 12 points. Chase Owens had nine points and five rebounds.

The Mavericks (1-11) will play Cleveland next Monday starting at 7 p.m.

North Union 69, GHV 57

GARNER – The North Union boys basketball team earned its ninth win of the season after taking down Garner Hayfield Ventura 69-57 on Friday night.

Khael Jones had a team high 35 points, knocking down seven 3-pointers while gathering 13 rebounds and six steals. Greyson Colegrove added 21 points of his own after knocking down nine field goals.

North Union (9-2) will continue its season next Tuesday against GTRA starting at 7:45 p.m.
