MADELIA – The Granda Huntley East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther girls basketball team toppled Madelia on Thursday night 66-28.

Keira Benck led all Jaguars with 20 points while picking up four assists and steals. Londyn Bowers had 12 points and six rebounds. Addison Nowicki nailed a handful of field goals to propel a 10 point scoring night herself.

GHEC/T/ML (6-4) will play next Tuesday at Cleveland starting at 7 p.m.

BOYS BASKETBALL

GHEC/T/ML 68, Cedar Mountain 57

MORGAN – Eli Jensen’s 25 point scoring outburst fueled Granda Huntley East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther’s 68-57 victory over Cedar Mountain on Thursday night.

Jensen connected on five outside shots to jump start his productive night. Reagan Emmert and Griffin Studer each threw in 14 points while combining for 12 field goals.

The Jaguars (3-6) will travel to Nicollet on Friday. The game is set to start at 7 p.m.
