Fairmont cross-country competes in BSC Championships
LUVERNE – The Fairmont High School boys and girls cross country teams took home fourth- and fifth-place finishes in Tuesday afternoon’s Big South Conference Cross-Country Championships Large School races.
For the boys, Cooper Gudahl (17:09.31) led all Cardinal runners with a seventh-place finish. Devein Hanson (17:50.75) was close behind in 14th, with Cole Hanson (18:16.84) and Holden Junkermeier (19:05.24) earning 19th and 30th, respectively.
On the girls side it was Brooklyn Stone (21:28.08) leading the way for the Cardinals after earning a 19th-place finish. Delaney Klug (22:03.18) earned 27th. Avery Steuber (23:26.54) and Amiyah Dunn (23:47.67) finished neck and neck in 38th and 39th.
