Area football roundup: Warriors take down West Bend-Mallard

North Union 48, WBM 12

WEST BEND – The North Union High School football team defeated West Bend-Mallard, 48-12, on Friday night to even its record to 3-3 on the season.

North Union quarterback Greyson Colegrove tallied 216 passing yards on nine competitions and two touchdowns. Running back Draven Keeler picked up 241 yards and five touchdowns with his feet. Wide receiver Cooper Hoye led all pass catcher with 111 yards on just three receptions.

North Union will finish its regular season this Friday in Armstrong with a game against Northwood-Kensett starting at 7 p.m.

GHEC/T 42, HLO/F 34

FULDA – Granada Huntley East Chain/Truman took down Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda last Friday night 42-34 to advance to 3-4 on the season.

Jaguars quarterback Reagan Emmert threw for 294 yards and four touchdowns on just eight competitions. Bowan Sill led all rushers with 105 yards and a touchdown. Brody Grathwohl also scored a rushing touchdown, tacking on 50 yards on 13 carries. Wide receiver Lane Kruse caught for 170 yards and three scores.

The Jaguars will take on Nicollet this Wednesday to close out their regular season. Kickoff is set to start at 7 p.m. in Granada
