BLUE EARTH – Granada Huntley East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther took down Blue Earth Area on Monday night in straight sets: 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

Londyn Bowers powered the Jaguars in the win with 13 kills, 10 digs and one solo block. Keira Benck had 17 assists to go with two aces.

The Jaguars continue the season on Thursday at home against Madelia.

Cedar Mountain 3, MCW 1

MORGAN – Martin County West fell to Cedar Mountain on Monday night in four sets: 20-25, 23-25, 25-23, 23-25.

Maddie Carlson led the Mavericks with 10 kills while having 11 digs, while Emily Schettler had 24 set assists and Lillie Schultz recorded 18 digs.

The Mavericks continue the season on Thursday with a road affair against Loyola Catholic School.

GIRLS SOCCER

Fairmont 2, Stewartville 2

STEWARTVILLE – Fairmont Area girls soccer tied with Stewartville 2-2 on Monday night.

The Cardinal goals were from Frankie Martin and Grace Kotewa.

Martin started things off in the first half after ripping one past the keeper off Makenzie Gerhardt’s pass.

Kotewa scored in the second half after getting a pass from Martin.

The Cardinals continue the season on Tuesday against Worthington.
