Tomahawk-Valley Conference Golf Teams announced

The Tomahawk-Valley Conference announced its boys and girls golf teams this weekend.

New Ulm Cathedral’s Owen Strei was announced as the Boys Conference MVP. Joining him on the All-Conference team are Sleepy Eye United’s Blaine Arneson, Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther’s Landon Zimmer, SEU’s Nolan Kucera, GHEC/T/ML’s Gavin Kester, Cedar Mountain’s Blake Schueller, Alden-Conger’s Ryan Hintz, SEU’s Anders Coulson, SEU’s Isaac Christensen, Martin County West’s Kale Larson, MCW’s Knox Larson, Cedar Mountain’s Carson Schiller, SEU’s Josh Sellner, Springfield’s Braiden Davis and Madelia’s Laiken Melzer. Honorable Mentions were Alden-Conger’s Nick Korman, SEU’s George Schwint, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop’s Cole Jacobson, Cathedral’s Carter Wilson, Springfield’s Dylan Simonson, GFW’s Lincoln McCue, Springfield’s Erik Davis, Madelia’s Josiah DeMaris, Cathedral’s Will Marti and Wabasso’s Brayden Guetter. SEU’s Bryant Mages was named as the Boys Coach of the Year.

SEU’s Sam Price was the Conference MVP for the girls. Joining her on the All-Conference team were Springfield’s Mavri Winkelmann, Alden-Conger’s Courtney Bakkedahl, SEU’s Chloe Walter, SEU’s Kiara Murphy, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart’s Ava Ahlbrecht, Springfield’s Ava Lipetzky, Alden-Conger’s Kayla Halvorsen, Cathedral’s Emma Hoffmann, GFW’s Anika Lee, SEU’s Ella Pollard, Madelia’s Katherine DeVlaeminck, MCW’s Brenna Heifner and Cedar Mountain’s Bailey Woodford. Honorable Mentions were GHEC/T/ML’s Charlotte Berhow, Madelia’s Katie Bocock, Madelia’s Genesis Robles, Springfield’s Kynslee Kastner, MCW’s Morgan McCorkell, Springfield’s Annie Kuehn, Alden-Conger’s Becca Ahnemann and GFW’s Abigail Willegal. Mages was also named as the Girls Coach of the Year.
