Zimmer, Larson prep for Class A State Golf Tournament
BECKER – Martin County West and Granada Huntley-East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther each have a representative looking to put themselves high on the leaderboard at the Class A State Golf Tournament Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Class A tourney will take place in Becker at Pebble Creek.
For GHEC, Landon Zimmer comes into the event with a nine-hole average of 39.6. For MCW, Knox Larson has a nine-hole average of 42.2.
Zimmer will get his tournament started Tuesday, June 10 at 12:32 p.m. alongside Blake McMullen of Mahnomen-Waubun, Jack Abrahamson of Canby, and Kyden Kotrba of West Marshall.
Larson starts the same day at 12:08. He will start alongside Braiden Davis from Springfield and Carson Devos from Ada-Borup-West.
Their placement after Day 1 will determine when they play on Day 2.
