ELMORE – In a five-team girls golf meet Thursday at the Minn-Iowa Golf Course, Blue Earth Area (BEA) and Fairmont finished first and second, respectively.

Leslie Zarling finished third individually with a 44 for Fairmont, while Katherine Zelaya finished fifth with a 46.

For BEA, Madison Ehrich took fourth with a 45, while Hailey Hanson finished tied for ninth with a 53.

The next meet is a Varsity Invitational at Fairmont Interlaken Golf Club Friday at 1 p.m.

REDWOOD FALLS – Blue Earth Area (BEA) finished second, while Fairmont finished last as a team in a seven-team golf meet Thursday.

Hudson McKean stood out for Fairmont, finishing 12th individually with a 43, while Jalin Jackson shot a 48 to finish tied for 27th.

BEA’s Cole Becker was the medalist with a 37, while teammate Jackson Blondin shot a 40 for fifth.

The next meet is a Varsity Invitational at Fairmont Rose Lake Golf Club Friday at 1 p.m.
