Fairmont Cardinals fall to Windom, 3-1

FAIRMONT – The Windom Eagles defeated the Fairmont Cardinals baseball team 3-1 on Thursday at Herb Wolf Field.

The Eagles got a strong pitching performance from Jackson Joyce, who threw a complete game and finished with four strikeouts.

The Cardinals sprayed six hits total in the game. Jesen Livesay led the Fairmont offense, going 2 for 3 with a double.

Windom moves on to Marshall on Saturday where they are scheduled to play the winner of today’s game between Minnewaska Area and New Spicer.
