FAIRMONT — The No. 2-seeded Fairmont Martins play host to the No. 6-seeded Jackson Bulls at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Herb Wolf Field in the opener of a best-of-3 Region 13C semifinal series.

Fairmont travels to Wacker Field in Jackson on Friday night for a 7:30 p.m. Game 2 against the host Bulls.

If a Game 3 is needed, the Martins would play host to the Bulls at 2 p.m. Sunday back at Wolf Field in Fairmont.

Both Fairmont and Jackson already have qualified for the state tournament.

In the other regional semifinal series, the No. 1-seeded Luverne Redbirds play host to the No. 5-seeded Hadley Buttermakers at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Game 1.

Game 2 moves to Hadley at 2 p.m. Saturday, with an “if needed” Game 3 slated for 2 p.m. Sunday in Luverne.

Fairmont drafted Windom’s Ross Ackermann for the playoffs, Jackson selected Pipestone’s Brandan Alfson, Luverne took Windom’s Collin Lovell, while Hadley opted for Windom’s Luke Gilbertson.
