U10 soccer teams continue play

FAIRMONT — The U10 girls and boys soccer programs continued its summer schedule with several completed games played the week of July 27 through Aug. 3. Results are below.

U10 Girls Division

Games played July 27

Saxton Farms 5, Car Parts Direct 2 — Abby Watson tallied two goals, while Athena Opheim, Logyn Luhmann and Natalie Jorgensen also scored one goal apiece. Faith Eckles, Jorgensen, Opheim, Aurelia Hartley and Luhmann had assists.

Ellena Laven and Ella Swanson scored the goals for Car Parts Direct, assisted by Swanson and Lila Klunder.

Clancy Chiropractic 0, Hair, Etc. 0.

Games played Aug. 1.

Saxton Farms 6, Hair, Etc., 0 — Athena Opheim tallied two goals and one assist.

Kensley Tietje, Jocelyn Ferguson, Natalie Jorgensen and Abby Watson also scored a goal apiece. Luhmann and Jorgensen had an assist.

Clancey Chiropractic 6, Car Parts Direct 4 — Adaline Edmundson and Charlee Koenecke each scored two goals apiece, while Emma Byers and Ellie Steuer rounded out the scoring with a goal apiece.

Steuer added one assist.

Ella Swanson scored Car Parts Direct’s four goals.

Amelia Sidles and Ellie Wurster each had one assist.

Games played Aug. 3.

Clancey Chiropractic 4, Saxton Farms 2 — Emma Byers, Adaline Edmundson, Ellie Steuer and Kylah Atkinson each scored one goal.

Steuer also had one assist.

Logyn Luhmann tallied both goals for Saxton Farms with Caroli Ramos Lopez and Natalie Jorgensen drawing assists.

Car Parts Direct 5, Hair, Etc., 1 — Ella Swanson scored all five goals. Ella Feltman-Hatfield, Susan Hackett and Lila Klunder had assists.

U10 Boys Division

Games played July 27

Fairmont Roofing 2, Seifried Portrait 1 — Waylon Stromberg scored an unassisted goal for Seifried, while Landon Theony had a goal for Fairmont Roofing.

Taco John’s 7, Edward Jones 5 — Drew Swanson tallied three goals and Daniel Sanchez had two goals to lead Taco John’s.

Leander Nelson also scored a goal and the Taco John’s team scored an own goal.

Swanson had two assists to go with his three goals, while Nelson also recorded an assist.

Mason Schonrock and Ben Roper scored two goals apiece to lead the Edward Jones team.

Brock Countryman also tallied one goal, while William Hamlet recorded the lone assist for Edward Jones.

Fairmont Police Officer Association 4, Loxley Coffee 2 — Clark Lundquist led the way with three goals for FPOA. Parker Olsen added one goal and one assist. Nolan Harris and Kolton Gerhardt also drew assists.

Bentley Rasche scored an unassisted goal for Loxley Coffee. Ben Thompson had the other goal, assisted by Rasche.

Games played Aug. 1

Seifried Portrait 6, Loxley Coffee 0 — Dawson O’Brien had a big game offensively, scoring three goals. Ryker Morgan scored two goals and Liam Hitzemann had one goal for Seifried Portait.

Fairmont Roofing 6, Taco John’s 1 — Landon Theony had the hat trick to lead Fairmont. Kalen Wickert tallied two goals and Evan Wubbena had one goal with Jezer Garcia-Estrada, Mason Johnson, Jace Breitbarth and Abel Thompson each recording one assist.

Drew Swanson had Taco John’s goal with Daniel Sanchez netting the assist.

Edward Jones 6, Fairmont Police Officer Association 3 — Mason Schonrock tallied four goals to lead Edward Jones. Ben Roper and Avery Sutphin scored one goal apiece.

Roper and Brock Countryman each had two assists to lead the team.

Jack Fraser and Zayden Huff also had an assist.

Kolton Gerhardt, Parker Olsen and Clark Lundquist each scored one goal for FPOA.

Tyler Goerndt, Seth Gibson and Olsen recorded an assist.

Games played Aug. 3.

Taco John’s 5, Seifried Portrait 3 — Drew Swanson tallied a hat trick and Daniel Sanchez scored two goals to lead Taco John’s. Sanchez.

Swanson each had one assist.

For Seifried Portrait, Henry Fuller, Dawson O’Brien and Waylon Stromberg each scored a goal.

Ryker Morgan, Stromberg and O’Brien each recorded one assist.

Fairmont Roofing 7, Fairmont Police Officer Association 1 — Landon Theony and Evan Wubbena each had two goals to lead a balanced scoring attack. Hudson Clayton, Abel Thompson and Jace Breitbarth (penalty kick) scored a goal apiece.

Gage Moon, Mason Johnson (2), Kalen Wickert, Dominic Sietsema and Wubbena had assists.
