U19 boys soccer nets 3-1 victory

FAIRMONT — The Seifried Portrait Design U19 boys soccer team took a 3-1 win over New Prague during summer soccer league action on June 22 at Kot Soccer Complex in Fairmont.

Isaiah Lebbi scored an unassisted goal, as did Josh Bergt, while Eli Broomfield scored a goal off an assist from Matthew Kotewa on a corner kick.

Jonathon Heinze and Weston Loughmiller split time in goal for Fairmont, with Heinze stopping two shots and Loughmiller recording three saves.

Worthington 7, Seifried Portrait Design 3 — Josh Bergt scored twice and Jonathon Heinze made 11 stops in goal, but Worthington overpowered Fairmont on June 17 in Fairmont.

Bergt scored one goal on an assist from Matthew Kotewa and one unassisted attempt. Isaiah Lebbi scored unassisted for Fairmont’s third goal.

U14 Girls

Waconia 6, Thompson Farms 0 — Waconia shut out Fairmont during U14 girls action on June 23 in Fairmont.

Grace Terry stopped 11 shots between the pipes for Thompson Farms.

St. Peter 8, Thompson Farms 1 — St. Peter overpowered Fairmont during summer soccer action on June 19.

Bella Schroeder scored Thompson Farms’ lone goal, while Mychaella Dunker stopped 14 shots in net for Fairmont.

U13 Girls

St. Peter 7, Associate Optometry 0 — St. Peter shut out Fairmont during action June 16 in St. Peter.

Ida Rohman and Kate Hagen split time in goal for Associate Optometry, with Rohman stopping one shot and Hagen saving five attempts.

U12 Boys

New Ulm 5, Profinium 2 — Vaughn Thompson and Cedar Bolsen each collected a goal for Profinium, but New Ulm was able to edge Fairmont by three during action June 21 in New Ulm.

Jayton Lamont made four saves in net for Profinium, while Bryan Ditzler made 11 stops.

New Prague 9, Profinium 0 — Profinium combined for 12 saves, but New Prague overpowered Fairmont for a shutout on June 16 at Kot Soccer Complex in Fairmont.

Eli Jensen made seven saves in net for Profinium, while Tyler Goldberg stopped five shots.
