SHERBURN — The Class AA, No. 4-ranked Martin County Red Bulls swept their nonconference wrestling triangular against the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut-Grove Panthers (44-24) and the St. Clair/Mankato Loyola Cyclones (68-12) on Friday night in Sherburn to improve to 4-0 on the dual-meet season.

After opening their dual meet against the Panthers by giving away a forfeit, the Red Bulls stampeded to nine consecutive wins to build an insurmountable 41-6 lead through the 170-pound weight class.

Cooper Steuber triggered the scoring avalanche by posting a 4-0 decision over David Schuh at 113 pounds before Red Bulls’ teammate Jesse Potts rolled to an 18-2 technical fall over Devin Carter at 120.

No. 1-ranked 126-pounder Jaxson Rohman needed only 2:59 to pin Jeret Ankrum before Martin County teammate and No. 8-ranked 132-pounder Kain Sanders earned a 7-2 decision over Alexander Schuh for a 17-6 margin.

Aden Welcome squeezed out a 4-2 decision over Ayden Horner during 138-pound action for the Red Bulls, while No. 3-ranked 138-pounder Lucas Jagodzinske moved to 145 to record a fall in 3:45 over Jayden Torgeson.

No. 2-ranked 145-pounder Connor Simmonds also moved up a weight class, sticking Jacob Meyer in 1:47 during 152-pound action before No. 5-ranked 152-pounder Blake Jagodzinske kept the Red Bulls’ points rolling skyward with a 20-5 technical fall over Noah Ortiz at 160.

Carver Rohman posted a 17-6 major decision over Gabe Krick during action at 170 to cap the Red Bulls’ consecutive string of points.

Max Olson added three more team points to Martin County’s total by downing Travis Willhite via a 12-5 decision during 220-pound action.

The Red Bulls repeated their nine-match winning streak after giving up a forfeit at 106 during their dual against the Cyclones.

Steuber pinned Parker Osmonson in 1:41 at 113 to serve as the scoring catalyst again before Potts netted a 7-2 decision over Eli Kruse at 120.

Jaxson Rohman put on a textbook clinic with a 28-13 technical fall over Hunter McCann at 126, while Sanders and Welcome delivered back-to-back falls for the Red Bulls. Sanders pinned Lucas Vaughan in 2:33 at 132, while Welcome needed just 50 seconds to earn the slap of the canvas over Chase Bade at 138.

Lucas Jagodzinske, Simmonds and Blake Jagodzinske all received forfeits from 145 through 160 before Carver Rohman stuck Jack Klinder in 3:22 during 170-pound action en route to a 50-6 lead on the scoreboard.

Wyatt Williamson tacked on a fall in 2:19 over Ben Walechka at 195 before Red Bull teammates Max Olson and Tristan Peterson collected forfeits at 220 and heavyweight, respectively.

The Red Bulls (4-0) play host to Luverne and Windom Area at 5 p.m. Tuesday night in Sherburn.
