FAIRMONT — The No. 1-seeded Fairmont Martins will open their Region 13C Final Four amateur baseball playoff series with the No. 4-seeded Milroy Irish at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Herb Wolf Field in Fairmont.

The Martins (18-2) travel to Irish Yard in Milroy to face the Irish on Friday night for Game 2 of the two teams’ best-of-3 series at 7:30 p.m.

If the series is tied at 1-all, the Martins and Irish would return to Wolf Field for a decisive Game 3 at 2 p.m. Sunday in Fairmont.

The No. 2-seeded Luverne Redbirds and No. 6-seeded Hadley Buttermakers open their regional series at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Luverne.

The Martins selected Windom’s Collin Lovell in the draft, the Irish took Windom’s Kobe Lovell, the Redbirds picked Pipestone’s Brandan Alfson, while the Buttermakers opted for Adrian’s Tucker Sorenson.
