NICOLLET — The Nicollet Raiders fended off the Martin County West Mavericks’ late comeback, 25-17, 25-15, 24-26, 16-25, 15-6, during Valley Conference volleyball action Thursday night.

Logan Kosbab produced 10 kills and 10 digs for Martin County West, while teammate Shaylynn Anderson doled out 16 set assists and made nine digs.

Olivia Anderson cranked nine kills to go with four digs for the Mavericks, while Sami Meyer delivered eight kills to complement two ace serves.

Gabby Lange tallied five kills and lofted six set assists for Martin County West, Emily Dunlop collected four kills and seven digs, while Jenna Clow topped the defensive effort with 11 digs.

Payton Leiding contributed seven digs to the Mavericks’ performance, Mariah Schofield and Taylor Elliott each delivered five digs, while Bella Bicknase distributed five set assists.

Martin County West (3-6) competes in the Carolyn Hummel Memorial Invitational at 9 a.m. today at Jackson County Central.
