Jaguars spike out 3-1 victory
WELLS — Michaelah Petrowiak pounded 10 kills and made six blocks to help lead the Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman Jaguars to a 3-1 win over United South Central in nonconference volleyball action Thursday night in Wells.
The Jaguars won the match, 25-21, 25-22, 20-25 and 25-21, respectively.
Lizzie Oothoudt had nine aces from the service line for the Jaguars. Teammate Lydia Steinhaus distributed 25 set assists, while Kambria Steinhaus had 19 digs.
The Jaguars (1-2) travel to Mankato Loyola next Thursday.
