Event seeks to form connections
This week a Hispanic Voices in Martin County panel and fiesta took place at the Knights of Columbus in Fairmont. The debut event was well-attended by members of the broader community. Thanks to the many people and organizations that played a hand in planning the event. We hope to see more events like this take place in the future.

Council reviews admin. candidates
The Fairmont City Council heard about three potential city administrator candidates at a special meeting this week. It sounds like there are some promising candidates with good experience on the table. The next step is to bring the candidates in for an in-person interview with council, at which time a meet and greet will also be held for the community.
