Appreciate community support

To the editor:

The Fairmont Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Fairmont Hy-Vee and Culligan of Fairmont for generously donating the food and drink for our annual Fairmont Night Out. We served 600 free pork chops on a stick, chips, cookies and refreshing Culligan Water to show our appreciation for the community support we receive throughout the year.

Thank you to KFMC for the live radio coverage to help promote the event. Thank you to the Martin County Pork Producers for being the grill masters. Thank you to the Fairmont Aquatic Park staff for hosting us. And thank you to the Fairmont Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance for joining our emergency vehicle display. We look forward to seeing you again in 2026 for Fairmont Night Out.
