PIE thankful for community support

To the Editor:

On Sept. 29, Fairmont Partners in Education held their annual Homecoming Tailgate at Mahoney Field. We would like to thank all those who came out in support of Partners in Education and the Cardinal football team. The proceeds are used toward teacher grant requests for needed things in their classrooms and/or opportunities for their students. We would like to thank our two sponsors, Minnesota Motor Bus, Inc. and Rosen’s, Inc. We would also like to thank the following businesses that supported the PIE tailgate in some way: Culligan Water, Rosen’s Diversified, Inc., HyVee, Fareway, Welcome Meats, Olson Rentals, Dr. Paul Carlson, First Farmers and Merchants Bank, Fairmont Schools Employees Federal Credit Union, Minuteman Press and Bob’s Biffys. It was a beautiful evening with a great turnout for the tailgate and also the football game.
