Local music production was excellent

To the Editor:

We attended the recent Fairmont Opera House production of ‘Sound of Music’ twice. Going the second time meant that we might have missed something the first time as there was so much to see and hear.

It was such a privilege to be able to attend such a production so close to home. There was a sense of excellence in every part of the production. The excellence ranged from the settings to an orchestra that seemed so prepared. The familiar songs seemed so in place in such a beautiful hall. Each of the performers played their part so well with both word and song. A thank you to anyone who had a part in this production.
