Thank you to local businesses

To the Editor:

Fairmont class of 1973 recently held its 50th class reunion. It was a great time, filled with a lot of activities. We would like to take this opportunity to thank several local businesses that were so accommodating and helpful in making our reunion a resounding success. Our thanks to these businesses: Best Western Hospitality and Catering, Fairmont Brewing Company (for our amazing The Hills — Lager of 73), Dee’s Floral and Design, HyVee Bakery, Fairmont Chamber of Commerce (for our welcome bags), Minuteman Press (for our booklets, banner and name tags on short notice), Channel Inn, Interlaken Golf Club, Fairmont Photo Press and Fairmont Sentinel (for the amazing stories of our unusual high school years) and Seifried Portrait Design (again on short notice). Without these businesses, our reunion would not have been such a success.
