Belief in others restored
To the Editor:
On Sunday, Feb. 26, I was traveling through Fairmont. I first stopped at the Walmart store, then proceeded through town. At the intersection by the Dollar Tree, it appeared a person was stuck in the snow with an electric wheelchair. I circled around the block to help, arriving to find three other people had already stopped. At Walmart, a gentleman was wheeling a cart and assisting someone in a wheelchair. I overheard at least four people offer assistance. Long story, short, I just wanted to compliment the citizens of Fairmont for being such kind, thoughtful people. It restores my belief in others. Keep up the good work.
