14th annual Kids Against Hunger Food Pack

To the Editor:

Children, what we wouldn’t do for them. Here’s your chance to make a difference for so many children: give them nourishing, life-saving food.

Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, marks the 14th year that the Martin County Kids Against Hunger has gathered to pack food for children in need. The food pack will take place 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Fairmont Armory.

We invite you to make a difference in children’s lives by providing a power-packed meal loaded with vitamins, protein and minerals. These nutritious meals help those who are hungry recover their health and regain hope for the future.

How can you help? There are three easy ways:

1. Put together a team to help pack food for those in need.

2. Fund-raise or donate to help cover the costs of the food pack.

3. Spread the word about the upcoming food pack and encourage others to get involved.

You can make a difference: form a team, attend the food pack, donate, spread the word. What can be more rewarding then putting food on a child’s table and bringing a smile to their face. Join or support the Annual Kids Against Hunger food pack today.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…” – Matthew 25:35.
