What Biden has done

To the Editor:

Joe Biden has been in office for about 21 months. Let’s go over his accomplishments.

1. He shut down the Keystone Pipeline. Now he has depleted our petroleum reserves.

2. He allowed Russia to built their pipeline into Europe.

3. The price of gas has more than doubled. He blames it on the Ukrainian War. It was already above $4 per gallon before the war started.

4. Inflation is at a 40 year high (shades of Jimmy Carter). I paid $800 more for home heating for this coming winter than last year. The stock market is tanking, along with IRA’s.

5. Crime has increased dramatically. 19 of the 20 cities that have the highest crime rates are run by mayors who are Democrats. And they tell us we need to de-fund the police.

6. Our southern border is a joke. We are the only nation that does not protect its citizens from illegals, many of whom are drug dealers, terrorists, and criminals. It is estimated that in 2021 alone almost 2 million illegal aliens came into this country at our expense. This year over 2 million have come into our country illegally. Our President and Vice-President are both liars when they say we do not have a border crises. Instead of hiring more border patrol agents, he hired 75,000 plus IRS agents to harass you and me.

7. The withdrawal from Afghanistan was a fiasco. Several U.S. soldiers were killed. In the last 18 months of the Trump presidency not one soldier was killed. Americans were leftover there and some are still there. There were videos of people falling off of cargo planes as they left. We left billions of dollars of high tech equipment (helicopters, trucks, night vision goggles, ammo, etc.).

8. Because of his weak leadership, Russia has invaded the Ukraine. This never happened during Trump’s presidency. Don’t think that China isn’t setting its’ sights on Taiwan.

9. Every day he misspeaks (his staff has had to backtrack on numerous issues); or he outright lies (saying we have no inflation, no border crises, no recession, no crime problem, etc).

10. Nations no longer respect us. You achieve peace through strength, not weakness.

11. Instead of focusing on teaching the basics, our public schools are indoctrinating our students in grade school, in such things as BLM, CRT, and what they call sex education. The teachers union thinks they know better than parents do as to what our children should be taught.

I challenge anyone to show me that they are better off, and our country is better off now than they were when President Trump left office. If you think you are better off, then vote for the Socialist Democrats this November.
