Long-term care agencies help
To the Editor:
I appreciated the Friday, Feb. 4th editorial in which good suggestions were stated for using the state budget surplus.
As told in the article, it is difficult for long-term care agencies. They must compete for staffing and the pay levels are dependent on state funding and they cannot pay workers as much. Many do not understand this. Hopefully, they will be getting more assistance.
