You Missed It!

To the editor:

Many of you missed a fantastic performance on Saturday evening at our beautiful Opera House.

Their depth and fullness of music was created by 2 violinists, a cello player, a guitarist, a drummer, 2 xylophone players, a vocalist on the keyboard, a trumpet player and 2 more vocalists in addition to the lead — Aby Wolf. Aby’s powerful voice glided between high notes and low mellow sounds.. Aby was very animated and engaged the audience. They did all original compositions. It was evident that they were filled with joy and enthusiasm just to be combining their talents to perform for a live audience.

Even though they had done a performance at Martin Luther HS and a pop-up concert at Graffiti Corner to provide an awareness of their talent and an invitation to their evening performance–the number of people in audience at the Opera House was embarrassing. If you counted, there were 12 performers which amounted to 1/3 of all present on Saturday evening.

As with any business, restaurant or entertainment venue in our town–if we don’t support them, we will lose them. This leaves us with the elimination of opportunities for places to buy things we need, dining and entertainment venues.

Please make a conscientious effort to attend performances at the Opera House, Red Rock, High Schools and any other entertainment opportunities right here in our town.
