Support appreciated

To the Editor:

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to the Fairmont community, parents, staff and students of Fairmont Area Schools for all the support of our homecoming week festivities. We could not have had such an outstanding week were it not for the help and collaboration of many hands.

Thank you to the FFA program for sponsoring the Fair and Feed.

Thank you to Joel Hokanson and Kelly Quiring for their work on our class color shirts.

Thank you to Terri Linse for the design and to Joe Brown for the production of our homecoming buttons.

Thank you to the food service staff who go the extra mile for our royalty lunch.

Thank you to Sovell Jewelry for donating the queen’s crown, and to Dee’s Floral for all their beautiful flowers at the coronation.

Thank you to Deb Heinrich for being our guest speaker.

Thank you to Stage 1 Sound for providing excellent DJ services.

Thank you to all the individuals who donated their convertibles for our candidates to ride in, and to the City Council for approving our parade through the Downtown Plaza.

Thank you to the staff at Fairmont Area Schools who volunteered to ref, coach, emcee, supervise and support every minute of our week.

Thank you to Jane Gustafson in the activities office and to the custodial staff in the building who bend over backward for us every year and help make our ideas become a reality.

Finally, thank you to our administration, who give their unwavering support to our organization.

We are sincerely proud to be part of the Cardinal family.
