To the Editor:

Thank you to all blood donors who answered the call to come and donate. Here are the results from the June blood drive:

o Tuesday, June 6 — 102 units collected with a goal of 129 units

o Wednesday, June 7 — 102 units collected on a goal of 114 units

o Thursday, June 8 — 68 units collected with a goal of 75 units

In total, 272 units were collected on the goal of 318.

Special thank you to all the volunteers: John McDonald and Kyle Redenius with Sentence to Service; Fairmont Holiday Inn for the fine facilities and great staff, especially Mike Christians and Megan Haegeman for their assistance; and to the Sentinel and Photo Press for advertising.

Thanks to all the long-time volunteers and the new volunteers who have answered the call for greeter and canteen volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering, please contact Cathy Stapel at (507) 381-2066.
