Jesse Dean Lane

MANKATO — A celebration of life visitation for Jesse Dean Lane, 47, of Mankato, Minn., will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Granada City Hall in Granada, Minn. A brief family service will be held immediately following the visitation. Lane passed away at 12:42 a.m. on Oct. 11, 2025, from an at-home fractal wood-burning accident. Life-saving measures were provided by Mankato Mayo Clinic EMTs, Mankato Police Department and close friends on scene. Lakeview Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

FAIRMONT — Funeral Services for Robert “Bob” D. Weerts, 73, of Winnebago, Minn., will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the old Winnebago High School. A private family burial will be held following the service at Rosehill Cemetery in Winnebago. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the old Winnebago High School.
