Kenneth l. Schutt, Jr.

WINNEBAGO — A celebration of life service for Kenneth l. Schutt, Jr., age 100, of Winnebago, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the First Presbyterian Church in Winnebago. Schutt passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, under UHD Hospice at Heartland Senior Care Center in Winnebago. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday in the fellowship hall at the First Presbyterian Church in Winnebago. Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago is in charge of arrangements.

FAIRMONT — A public graveside service for Marlin Ronald Slater, 85, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held later in the spring. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Fairmont, Minn. Slater died Sunday afternoon, Dec. 11, 2022, at Goldfinch Assisted Living Memory Care in Fairmont. Kramer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

FAIRMONT — Funeral services for Lauren F. Ettesvold, 87, of Fairmont, Minn., are pending at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Ettesvold passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

SHERBURN — A celebration of life service for Eldon F. Bettin, 89, of Temperance Lake Ridge, Sherburn, Minn., formerly of Jackson, Minn., will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Trimont, Minn. Burial will be in Elm Creek Cemetery, rural Trimont. Bettin died Tuesday evening, Dec. 6, 2022, at Temperance Lake Ridge in Sherburn. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church in Trimont. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn is in charge of arrangements.

NICOLLET — Jill Angela Schauberger, 64, of Nicollet, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, at her home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Swea City, Iowa. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family. Jill was born Nov. 13, 1958, to Merle and Norma (Bleckwenn) Lockwood in Estherville, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Swea City, Iowa. She graduated from Swea City Community School in 1976. On July 15, 1995, Jill married Douglas Schauberger.
