Charles N. Walters

FAIRMONT — Memorial Visitation for Charles “Chuck” N. Walters, age 75, of Fairmont, MN, will be 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont with military honors provided by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222 at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Chuck passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023, at his home in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

JACKSON — A Mass of Christian Burial for David J. Bluem, 58, of Jackson, Minn., will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Jackson. Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Jackson. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Jackson and one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. There will be a Divine Mercy Chaplet in Song at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Church. David was called to his eternal rest on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at his home in Jackson, Minn.

FAIRMONT — Services for Roger D. Mathwig, age 86, of Fairmont, Minn., are pending with the Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont. Roger passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, at Goldfinch Memory Care in Fairmont.

TRIMONT — A Service of Remembrance for Lloyd O. “Sweetie Pie-Pie” Olson, 77, of rural Trimont, Minn., will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at First Lutheran Church in Trimont. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont and one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Lloyd/Pie died unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at his home.

WELCOME — A Celebration of Life Service for Hildegard Bunge, of Welcome, will be 11 a.m., Monday, July 24, 2023, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome, Minn. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11 a.m., at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome. Pastor Wayne Fritzinger and Pastor Brian Wohlhuter officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Hildegard Bunge passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Goldfinch Memory Care in Fairmont, Minn. Arrangements are under the care of the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson.

AUBURN, Wash. — Janice Rae (Benck) Tietje, formerly of Fairmont, Minn., passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022, in Bellevue, Wash., surrounded by her family and reunited with her husband, Eldon. A graveside memorial for Janice and Eldon will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 29, at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Fairmont.
