FAIRMONT — James Allen Teeslink, long-time resident of Fairmont, Minn., entered Heaven's gates on July 30, 2026, at the age of 94. Jim was born Dec. 12, 1931, in Sheldon, Iowa to John and Helen Teeslink. He was the youngest of three children. They resided in Sheldon till 1949 when the family moved to Ceylon, Minnesota. Jim stayed in Sheldon with a family to complete his senior year and star in football and basketball. After graduating, Jim joined the Navy and served for four years in Guam.
