SWEA CITY — Marion Kollasch, 96, of Swea City, passed away on March 18, 2025, at Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong, Iowa. A funeral service for Marion will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 24, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Armstrong. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Armstrong. Burial will take place, at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, at Harrison Township Cemetery in rural Swea City. The public is welcome to all events. Henry Olson Funeral Homes of Armstrong is assisting the family with arrangements.

FAIRMONT — A celebration of life service for Susan J. Hinz, 78, of Mendota Heights, Minn., formerly of Fairmont, Minn., will be at 1:30 p.m. March 28, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont, Minn. Burial will be following the service in Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on March 27, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and will continue one hour prior to the time of service at the church. Susan passed away Monday, March 17, at White Pine Assisted Living in Mendota Heights, Minn. Lakeview Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

JACKSON — A Celebration of Life Service to honor the life and legacy of Rodger Bosshart, 89, of Jackson, will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jackson at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 20 with visitation and gathering from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #130 and VFW Post #900, both of Jackson. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in rural Jackson. Rodger passed away peacefully on March 17, at the Sanford Jackson Medical Center in Jackson. Arrangements are under the care of the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson.

FAIRMONT — Steven G. Petersen faced his cancer diagnosis with incredible strength and grace and passed peacefully on March 18, 2025. Steve was born on Feb. 7, 1969, to Michael Petersen and Marcella (Quade) Shumski. He grew up in Fairmont and graduated from high school in 1987. Steve found ...
