Jerry was born on March 27, 1950, to Marlan and Eileen (Thompson) Ebeling in Fairmont, Minn. He graduated from Trimont High School in 1969 and went on to build his life around hard work, family, faith, and the agricultural community. After high school, Jerry served his country in the Army National Guard. On April 20, 1974, Jerry was united in marriage to Deborah "Deb" Mau. They were blessed with three boys, Jeremy, Jeffrey, and Andrew.

Jerry was a man who lived life on his own terms and worked hard for what he believed in. Agriculture wasn't just his passion, it was his livelihood and way of life. Throughout his life he built businesses rooted in hard work and dedication and a handshake that meant something. From his feed business to seed sales, farrowing thousands of pigs to his beef operation, Jerry put his whole heart into doing things the right way, treating people fairly and standing behind his word.

While his strong work ethic is something we will all remember him by, Jerry also knew there was more to life than just work. He enjoyed playing cards, golfing, hunting, fishing, watching his grandkids' activities, and spending time around the campfire with a cold one. Jerry had a big personality, generous heart, and a presence that filled a room. His gift to gab could break the ice in any situation. He didn't live life on the sidelines, he jumped in with two feet and made sure there was a story to tell afterwards.

He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, integrity, laughter and love. His influence will live on in the agricultural community he was so passionate about, in the businesses he built, in the family he treasured and in the countless memories shared.

Jerry will forever be remembered by his loving wife, Deb; sons, Jeremy (Laura) Ebeling, Jeffrey (Beth) Ebeling, and Andrew (Abby) Ebeling; grandchildren, Riley, Reegan, Carter, Lenora, Paige, Ava, and Conner; siblings, Linda Chase, James (Kay) Ebeling, and Dale (Mary) Ebeling; sister-in-law, Joyce (Orval) Larson; brother-in-law, Gary (Dottie) Mau; bonus daughter, Jenae Willette; his beloved dog, Max; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlan and Eileen; brother-in-law, Bruce Chase; aunts and uncles; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Esther (Flohrs) Mau.
