FAIRMONT -- A celebration of life service for Wendy L. Ziemer, 55, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fairmont. Graveside services will be held following the service in Center Chain Cemetery, rural Fairmont, Minn. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and will continue one hour prior to the time of service at the church. Wendy passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato, Minn., after a courageous battle with cancer. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with the arrangements.
