Lucille M. Steiner
FAIRMONT — A Celebration of Life for Lucille M. Steiner, 100, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the service at Lakeview Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont. Lucille passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Memorials are preferred to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont or UHD Hospice. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Lucille Mable (Gieseke) Steiner was born on Dec. 22, 1925, to William P. and Esther (Johnson) Gieseke in Northrop, Minn. She attended Northrop Public School and graduated from Fairmont High School.
On Feb. 19, 1946, Lucille was united in marriage to Bryce Steiner in Omaha, Nebr. After they were married, they made their home in Northrop before moving to Fairmont. Lucille worked as a clerk at Millers Fashion in Fairmont for 25 years.
Lucille was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont. She enjoyed baking cookies.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Patti (Gary) Krumholz of Fairmont; grandchildren, Gregory Steiner, Jacob Steiner, Abigail Steiner, Michael Steiner, Matthew Krumholz; great-grandchildren, Kirby, Maggie and Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Esther Gieseke; husband, Bryce Steiner; two sons, William Steiner and Timothy Steiner; and grandson, Joshua Steiner.
