William “Bill” A. Julin
TRIMONT — Private family services will be held for William “Bill” A. Julin, age 78, of Trimont, Minn. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn. Bill passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Society in Windom, Minn. Kramer Funeral Home of Welcome, Sherburn, and Trimont, Minn., is assisting the family with arrangements.
William “Bill” August Julin was born on Nov. 10, 1947, to Lloyd and Frances (Churchill) Julin in Detroit, Mich. Growing up he attended several schools. When Bill was 17 years old on Aug. 31, 1965, he enlisted in the United States Army and served until being honorably discharged on April 30, 1988.
On July 3, 1976, Bill was united in marriage to Marion Klaus in Las Vegas, NV. After their marriage they lived in Germany while Bill was in the service until 1980, when they moved to Maryland. In 1996, they moved to Truman and later to Trimont. Bill worked as a seasonal worker for many years at Crop Production Services in East Chain, Minn.
Bill was a member of the American Legion. He will be remembered as being a social person and loved being around people.
Those left to cherish his memory include his two sisters, Mary Landgren of Welcome and Rose (Keith) Schneider of New Ulm; many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Frances Julin; wife, Marion Julin; son, Ronald Julin; brothers and sister, Steve Julin, Susan Rodriguez and Dennis Julin.
