Elsie Nelson graduated from high school in Blue Earth, Minn. in 1953. Elsie married Dennis Krueger on Jan. 29, 1954, in Fairmont, Minn. Denny and Elsie had two children, Gary and Sharie.

Elsie spent most of her career working in Fairmont as a sales clerk, starting at Sears in the catalog department and finishing her career at Miller’s Fashions. Elsie and Denny relocated to Canon City, Colo. in August of 1996.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Dennis, her son Gary, her parents, and six of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter Sharie Flanagan of Monument, Colo., brother Arthur Nelson of Carson City, Nev., grandson Brandon Krueger of Lakewood, Colo., and step-grandson Jeremy Knutson of Liverpool, N.Y.
